Favorite Band Moment - I have quite a few. I’d guess that my top three would be, recording an album at SUN Studios in 2015, a midwest tour with Exene Cervenka of L.A. punk legends X, and performing with the Black Knights Drum and Bugle Corps at the DCI World Championships in Madison, Wisconsin. I was also featured in an issue of Modern Drummer Magazine in 2001. I have also had the honor to open for many national acts, such as, Dream Theater, Firehouse, The Dickies, The Vibrators, The Reverend Horton Heat, Hillbilly Casino, Brian Setzer, Slim Jim Phantom, and the late great godfather of Rock n Roll, Chuck Berry on three occasions.

Practice - I must admit that in recent years, my practice time has dwindled down to nearly none. I’m married, with three children, so family takes up most of my time. But I play in three bands, so I can stay fresh.

Music History - Started playing percussion and drums in 4th grade. Played in concert band, jazz band, and marching band in high school. I marched in the Black Knights Drum and Bugle Corps in 1987 and 1988. Studied music at Jefferson College.

I have played in several bands, such as Last Minute, Stratus, Maker, Shock Opera, Bonehouse, My Two Planets, AOK, The Ded Bugs, The Trip Daddys, Everett Dean and the Lonesome Hearts, and am currently with One More Round- A Tribute to Johnny Cash.
